With my group today, we think about the game called « Twister ». In France children really enjoy this game because it’s attractive, fun and you make some fitness.
This game can be played by lots of people, just depending the size. Usually, « It is played on a large plastic mat that is spread on the floor or ground. The mat has four rows of large colored circles on it with a different color in each row: red, yellow, blue and green. A spinner is attached to a square board and is used to determine where the player has to put their hand or foot. The spinner is divided into four labeled sections: right foot left foot, right hand and left hand. Each of those four sections is divided into the four colors (red, yellow, blue and green). After spinning, the combination is called (for example: « right hand yellow ») and players must move their matching hand or foot to a circle of the correct color. » (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twister_%28game%29)
To make it interactive, we think about changing the colored circles by color lights which are on or off, and on the floor. The spinner is replaced by a PC where people who want to participate (but not doing in the game) can say « Xx, you have to put your right hand yellow ». They can choose what players have to do, depending the situation, to have fun and to complicate game for people playing. We put also some sensors near all circles. When put put the right thing the light turn on and there is a « good » sounds. If you do the bad thing, there is a bad « song ».
Finally, we want to put a camera on the top of the ground. And all the game are diffused on the Internet. People looking video can decide what players have to do. They also can come to play the game.
